Does everyone have a list of restaurants they must dine at, at least once, in their phone notes?! I know it can’t just be me. Ever since I’ve been immersing myself a bit more into the restaurant scene I’ve been curating a very long list of restaurants to grab a bite to eat at, and of course will always have my go-to’s and favorites. It’s something about the New York City restaurant scene’s ambience that I know for sure I’ll never get sick of.
This past Sunday my friends and I went to the Coach Originals Pop-Up store in New York City, and it was amazing! They had restored vintage bags, along with new inspired bags from the archives. The bags were beautiful and had all the fall feels with the use of fall tones like greens, burgundy’s, and deep yellows. Upstairs they had their new collection which I love, the new prints are great for fall.
My first six months of living in New York City were fabulous. I’m home for the summer, and I’m already missing the big city. I love being able to get up in the morning, put on a great outfit, walk out the door and just explore. Whether it’s dining at Sarabeth’s for brunch, reading in Central Park, or shopping in Soho, the city makes me so happy to even just walk around in. I love being surrounded by so many different and unique people. It inspires me to be better, and shouldn’t we all put ourselves in an environment that does this? I can’t wait to be back, and especially experience my first fall there. Fall is my favorite season, and it gets me all excited just thinking about being there for it.
Brunch in New York City is not you’re average brunch, and you shouldn’t treat it that way either. There’s nothing better than sleeping in on a Saturday, waking up to it being sunny and 65, and stepping out on the streets to head to brunch at Sarabeth’s. With their five locations in NYC it’s a place everyone needs to experience at least once; but really, you’ll get hooked from the start.
Hey girls, welcome to McKenna in Manhattan- a new series I’m starting on Petunia’s Picks where I’ll be sharing everything feminine, girly, classy, and glamorous in New York City. Keep on Reading!
