Burgundy, a Lovely Color for Autumn

Burgundy, a Lovely Color for Autumn

Burgundy is a lovely shade to wear in the fall, and pairs so well with both browns and blacks, the basis of my autumn wardrobe. This coat that I’ve had for a year now was the perfect match to my Nars lip pigment in shade Warm Leatherette. This lip color is beautiful, and it lasts the whole day, with only a few touch ups after I drink or eat something. I love the Burgundy colors with the snake print, the two tones together look lovely.

Equestrian Style in the Meatpacking District

Equestrian Style in the Meatpacking District

For an autumn day in the Meatpacking District I was inspired by equestrian style. I love the preppy aesthetic that comes with it, and I’ve always wanted to go horseback riding in a full ensemble from Ralph Lauren, but this will have to due for now. I wore an old plaid blouse from Zara that’s still one of my favorites years later, with a vintage brown leather vest that my mother gave me.

Casual Sunday Style

Casual Sunday Style

I’m starting to cherish my Sunday’s more and more. As it’s a time to relax, but also catch up with yourself and prepare for the week ahead. Life is crazy and during the weeks I catch myself just going throughout the day, rushing around and not really thinking or letting myself just be for a second. There’s nothing better than waking up on a Sunday morning, grabbing brunch with a friend, and catching up on all the things to get a jump start into the week.

A purple and red combination is one of my all time favorites. The deep purple and bright red make for the best autumn combination when you’re not feeling the tans, browns, oranges, and greens.

Candy Stripes

Candy Stripes

Purple candy stripes were the mood for this September look. I find September dressing can be one of the hardest months to dress for, along with March. The seasons are starting to change, you’re slowly drifting your wardrobe from bright prints and florals to more fall-like tones and prints.

Tweed and Lace

Tweed and Lace

I’m loving this tweed and lace combo for the holiday season. I got these lace tights to experiment with and put together different looks with. Tights are a unique way to add color, or in this case a different texture to your looks in the fall and winter. Keep on Reading!

Cheetah Chic

Cheetah Chic

I’m loving cheetah print this fall, and I can’t stop adding all my favorite cheetah printed clothing and shoes to my wishlist! Instead of pairing these cheetah print jeans with a solid black sweater, I decided to add a print in. I love this sleeveless striped sweater with the cheetah print. Keep on Reading!

Navy and Pink

Navy and Pink

What’s a wardrobe without bows? Good thing I’ll never know. This bow blouse from the Atlantic Pacific x Halogen collection has my heart! The velvet bow detailing with the two shades of pink looks lovely paired with navy below, but for a more casual look I’d definitely wear it with a pair of jeans.  Keep on Reading!

This tweed jumpsuit is my favorite piece in my closet right now. I love the button detail and how it has a front wrap that gives the effect of it being a dress, but it’s actually a jumpsuit! I got this headband before the jumpsuit, but noticed that it’s literally the perfect match! The chain detail on both pieces is spot on, and the headband is super comfortable, unlike some that you can’t wear for very long because they are too tight.

I love kitten heels, and especially for walking around because they are soooo comfortable, and they give you a heel! These pink suede ones were the perfect touch to this look. For jewelry I’m wearing a pair of gold hoops and a Kate Spade gold bow bracelet. This bag is one I’m going to be wearing all fall, big enough to carry around all day and put your things in, and I love the duffle bag shape.

Along side this look, this dress is also a perfect summer to fall dress- and you can continue to wear it in cooler weather with layers. It’s sooo comfortable and fits like a glove. I love the way the shoulders fall; they give the dress a feminine touch and it’s the perfect sleeve length for a transitional dress into fall.

This headband is the answer to all my sparkly jewel dreams, and it’s a perfect colorful accessory for the sand colored dress. I paired the headband with these gem earrings from Zara. If I were to add another accessory, it would definitely be a gem ring.

Hi everyone! I’ve been lovinggg the beret trend lately! I’m not usually one to wear supper trendy things just because I like to wear different things than what others are wearing, but I bought this beret soo long ago and now I’ve been seeing them everywhere and I’m so excited! Now I get to buy them in prints and different colors, I’ll have a million before winter even ends hahahaha

Also, I love these type of jackets!! Zara has a bunch of different style ones and I think they are so fun and different. The jacket I’m wearing in these pictures isn’t available anymore, but I linked a similar one and if you look on Zara you’ll find a bunch. These shoes are the perfect match to this jacket I was so happy when I got them in and they matched!

Tweed is also one of my all time favorite materials ever, so it makes me love this skort even more. Zara has a bunch of different pieces out right now that incorporate tweed so I highly recommend you go browse their site if you love tweed!

Happy September!! It’s getting closer and closer to October and I am soooo so so excited! Fall colors are just so beautiful and it makes me so happy.

Apple picking is one of my favorite fall things to do! I love coming home and eating the apples/making pies with them. It did say that it was supposed to rain so I wore rainboots, but thankfully it started raining right after we finished apple picking! Of course we had to get apple cider donuts and apple cider, because who goes apple picking and doesn’t get those things?!! I look forward to eating apple cider donuts all year long, they are just the best donuts I’ve ever tasted, exspecially when they are warm 🙂

Below my picture I did link my outfit details, I had such a hard time finding a similar turtleneck that is this shade of orange, so I did link similar ones but not the exact shade… but I’m still on the look out!! If I find one I’ll let you know!

My Fashion Favorite: Faux Fur

My Fashion Favorite: Faux Fur

My absolute favorite thing to wear is fur! Whether it be a fur coat, scrunchie, hat, vest, or choker you can always find me in fur. Below I have a few pictures of me in my fur fashion!

In this picture I am wearing my white faux fur vest from American Eagle; it’s so cute and comfy! My skirt is from Forever 21. I love the bright red because it adds a pop of color to the outfit. My shirt and boots are from Marshalls!

Here is another outfit that I incorporated my white fur vest into! I paired it with a cute t-shirt dress from Aeropostale, and for shoes I wore my Adidas Originals.

Here I’m wearing a cheetah print faux fur jacket from Marshalls! It is the warmest jacket I’ve ever worn, and is super fun to wear.

On my first trip to New York City I wore this vest! I got this faux fur vest from Marshalls. My fringe skirt is from Forever 21, and is one of my favorite skirts to wear! For shoes I wore black thigh high boots from Forever 21, and my black choker is from Urban Outfitters.

I got this faux fur bomber jacket from Charlotte Russe! The minute I saw this jacket I knew it was meant for me; it’s fur and in my favorite color pink! The jeans I’m wearing are from PacSun and the striped tank top is from Garage.
These faux fur heels are from GoJane! I absolutely love these heels, and they are perfect for a night out; they add some fun to the outfit!

I incorporated my faux fur heels into my outfit for my homecoming dance! My metallic bodycon dress is from Forever 21 along with the sparkly choker.
For Christmas I wore my faux fur cream scrunchie from Forever 21! My red peacoat is from Old Navy, and my striped pants are from Forever 21. These pants are my favorite pants to wear because they are so unique and fun.
Another fur jacket!! I got this faux fur jacket from Marshalls, and paired it with flared jeans from Gap. For jewerly I’m wearing a faux fur choker from PacSun, a gold choker from Stargaze Jewerly, and gold hoops.
Last but not least, a leather faux fur jacket! This jacket is from Kenneth Cole. I also have featured in this picture a phone case that is a bunny and has a faux fur black pom pom on the back; it is from Charlotte Russe. Also in this picture is a baseball hat from Forever 21 that has two faux fur pom poms on it; I look like Minny Mouse when I wear it!
