A purple and red combination is one of my all time favorites. The deep purple and bright red make for the best autumn combination when you’re not feeling the tans, browns, oranges, and greens.
No season could ever top fall. After a hot summer, there’s nothing better than the change of seasons, feeling like there is a fresh start. The air is cool, and Autumn colors start to bloom.
It’s Autumn! My favorite season of all comes with crisp weather, deep toned colors, and the changing of leaves. The fashion that comes with it excites me so much. Layering, wearing gloves and cloches, knee high schools and Mary Janes. Plaid and dark florals; preppy style is my all-time favorite, and Autumn is the perfect time to wear it.
Purple candy stripes were the mood for this September look. I find September dressing can be one of the hardest months to dress for, along with March. The seasons are starting to change, you’re slowly drifting your wardrobe from bright prints and florals to more fall-like tones and prints.
This past Sunday my friends and I went to the Coach Originals Pop-Up store in New York City, and it was amazing! They had restored vintage bags, along with new inspired bags from the archives. The bags were beautiful and had all the fall feels with the use of fall tones like greens, burgundy’s, and deep yellows. Upstairs they had their new collection which I love, the new prints are great for fall.
The balloon sleeve is a great way to play with 80s style, and with the modern twist on it that I’ve been seeing for this fall is perfect and can be worn casual, in the office, or going out. It’s a fun way to play with volume and spice up a more casual outfit when worn with jeans. A perfect way to add drama to any look.
September is creeping up on us, which means autumn is going to be here before we know it. It’s my favorite season, and I absolutely can’t wait to start breaking out my beautiful boots and autumn colors. When the leaves start to change I feel so much inspiration and joy, it’s like the start of a new year for me. I’m most especially excited for being in the city for this season. There will be many walks in Central Park, and photos galore. I’ve dreamed about being in New York City in autumn for years and years, and now I’ll finally be able to experience it. Crisp fall days are awaiting us.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now officially open to the public! Although it can be a stressful sale to navigate because there is so much to see and so many great deals, I suggest narrowing down on what you want to buy, and that’s shoes!
Ever since watching Gossip Girl for the first time about five years ago, Blair Waldorf’s iconic, preppy style has inspired me. It may have taken a while (about 3-4 years) to dress how I wanted to and imagined for years, but now that I am, it’s made me realize the one person who completely inspired me is Blair Waldorf. I can’t believe it’s already the end of 2018! What a year it has been, with graduating high school and starting college, it’s been a year with a lot of changes, and I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings into my life! Some big changes are happening in January that I’m nervous but so excited about, and can’t wait to share in a few weeks. Keep on Reading!
I know it’s getting cold, especially for us living in New England. It can be awful going outside whether your out for a day in the city, trying to clean off your car before going to work, etc. If I were to tell you one style tip for winter and braving the cold, it would be to leave the animals alone, stay away from real fur. A good bag deal just can’t be missed out on, especially when it’s Coach. I’ve been wearing Coach bags ever since I can remember; I even wear my moms bags that she got years ago! The quality is so good for the price, and I’ve never had one fall apart on me even after many years of use. Keep on Reading!
I don’t think I know one person who doesn’t have something floral in their closet. Many of us once the fall approaches put away our florals until next spring; but I certainly don’t stop wearing them, and neither should you! Keep on Reading!
Tis the season! Whenever I think of the holiday season and what to wear, the first thing that comes to mind (other than sparkles, of course) is velvet. It’s the perfect fabric for the cold weather, and it has a holiday glam feel like no other. Keep on Reading!
I’m loving cheetah print this fall, and I can’t stop adding all my favorite cheetah printed clothing and shoes to my wishlist! Instead of pairing these cheetah print jeans with a solid black sweater, I decided to add a print in. I love this sleeveless striped sweater with the cheetah print. Keep on Reading!
What’s a wardrobe without bows? Good thing I’ll never know. This bow blouse from the Atlantic Pacific x Halogen collection has my heart! The velvet bow detailing with the two shades of pink looks lovely paired with navy below, but for a more casual look I’d definitely wear it with a pair of jeans. Keep on Reading!
With it now being the beginning of November, the holiday season is quickly approaching us all. It’s never to early to start shopping for gifts, getting recipes ready, and what I’m here to help with today, getting your outfits together! Keep on Reading!
An outfit is never complete without at least one accessory. I love to layer, layer, and layer in the fall- and this involves accessories. The colder months are the perfect time for accessories because not only is there just jewelry to play around with, there’s scarves, gloves, hats, and tights as well! Keep on Reading!
