Marisa Berenson’s Marrakech home is furnished and designed so brilliantly and colorfully, and it’s definitely something that gives me joy looking at during these unfortunate times. When Berenson first saw the home “it was completely abandoned” where she states in the full article over on Elle Decor. From Venetian sofas to gold taffeta curtains and special treasures, the space she’s created is magical.

These Moroccan Pendants add a romantic feel to a space.

These doors are gorgeous. They are hand-carved and covered in gold leaf.
There’s no hiding that Marisa has had a marvelous career. From studying interior design to modeling and acting, there’s absolutely nothing boring about her life, and she continues to live it to the fullest.
I love this quote from her interview in the original article on Elle Decor, she states “I never expected any of the things in my life to happen. I dreamt about them. I had a desire for them, but it just came into my life as a sort of miracle.”
The tribal motifs and fringed edges on this rug is a great way to add a Marrakech touch.

These mother of pearl swans seen here in the dining room are so beautiful. The thing that I just love about design is picking up treasures from all over the world, then bringing them together in a space. It’s so amazing to look at everything all together; it makes me feel so joyful.
