Wow was I wrong when I thought that a Friday night at the museum would be quiet! Little did I know that the MoMa offers free admission on Fridays from 5:30 to 9:30pm. It was a bit overwhelming to visit with so many people, but I still enjoyed the art and got to see some of the pieces I’ve always wanted to see!
Since it was so crowded, my friend Keon and I didn’t have a plan and just wandered through the museum and saw where that took us.
The Havegue Yang Handles gallery was super interesting. Six installations along with an iridescent wall with steel grab bars attached was the environment of this section. This gallery will be at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City until April 12th.
Wow aren’t Claude Monet’s Water Lilies so simply beautiful. I want to find a morning where I can get to the museum and sit on a bench and spend some time just enjoying them.

Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night is one of my favorite oil paintings. I remember back in high school I did one half of the painting and my friend did the other. All the midnight hues and the way he made his strokes is just so beautiful and it’s a painting that really captivates your eyes.

Some paintings are just an example of how a person can create beauty, and some seem to me complete bad taste.
