Mermaid Inspired Colors

This Michael Kors coat that I’ve had for years has been a long favorite of mine. Every winter season I get so excited to break it out, and now that I have added a new hot pink one this year as well, I secretly don’t want coat weather to go away just yet.

The purple sweater dress I have on I got from Zara last Autumn and love it. Other than this jacket and a purple asymmetrical skirt I have, I don’t own much purple even though I love the color. The dress is a perfect match to the coat!

To top off the look I picked out my favorite belt in my closet. In New York there are tons of random stores you walk by, and I had been eyeing this belt for WEEKS, and finally last spring I decided to pop in and grab it, and it was only $10! It’s one of my favorite pieces in my closet.

My friend Keon and I visited a coffee shop on Bond Street called Coffee n’ Clothes and it was so cute! You can chose different fashion art or brand names to have designed into your coffees and they have a cute sitting area. For a Sunday at 1, there wasn’t a lot of people and we got to sit! There was also an art gallery connected to the store which was right up my alley.

I live in black tights in the winter, and for a classic black pair I can’t recommend Hue enough. They sell on Amazon so if you have Prime they can ship to your home super quick, which is so helpful because last week my pair ripped and I needed a new pair ASAP. These black booties have been my go-to for the past couple weeks. The heel is slightly shorter than others in my wardrobe, but they’re still high enough that they give me the extra few inches I need. Sometimes us short girls just want to be a bit taller!
