The greatest thing about New York City is without even a plan, you can head out for the day and stroll through a neighborhood and find so many cool things to do. I love walking around the city on the weekends, even if it’s only for a few hours! This past Saturday my friend and I set out for Soho and we found the coolest art gallery.
Located on 469 Broome Street (or around that area, I found this address from the photos I took) is a super fun art gallery. I don’t think it’s permanent, so if you’re in the area I’d definitely check it out! There’s also an upstairs as well as downstairs, but those were blocked off when we visited.
Of course this butterfly installation struck me as I was walking by and this is what enticed us to go in and explore. These butterflies are making me long for spring! Hopefully a few more weeks and then we’ll start to see some blooms.
Adore the blue shutters on this home! I love the character of the door.
We stumbled upon the cutest chocolate shoppe, L.A. Burdick Chocolates, and I absolutely love the interior design. The striped wallpaper is so cute and is giving me interior inspiration, and I love the paintings on the wall!
This woman is iconic, and I need a collared blouse/coat like hers!
I’ve been a longtime fan of the Anna Sui brand ever since I discovered that a few pieces from Gossip Girl were from her collections. I’d never been inside a store, and as we were walking we found it and had to go in! The store and clothes all give a dark romance vibe which I love. Also, on their runways the models often wear John Fluevog shoes, which is a new to me brand that I’m obsessed with and wore a pair of their shoes here.
