BAFTA Awards 2020 Best Dressed

BAFTA Awards 2020 Best Dressed

The theme of last night’s 2020 BAFTA Awards was sustainability. The Duchess of Cambridge re-wore a beautiful white with gold detailing gown by Alexander McQueen that she last wore in 2012. Saoirse Ronan wore a Gucci gown made out of recycled materials. There was lots of pink on the red carpet last night as well, which of course I loved.

Here’s my best dressed of the night

Florence Pugh wearing Dries van Noten. I love the hot pink cap with the short black dress. Her red carpet looks have been stunning this season.

Scarlett Johansson wearing Versace. I love the feather detailing at the bottom, and also think this color looks so nice on her.

Charlize Theron wearing Dior Haute Couture. The top part of the gown is so flattering and I love the pleating of the skirt. The simple black belt is the perfect touch along with the necklace.

Laura Dern wearing Valentino Haute Couture. The detailing of the top is so elegant and love how the neckline widens out at the top. The satin and velvet mix in this color is pretty.

Olivia Colman wearing Alexander McQueen. The sheer sleeves make this gown so lovely with the floral detailing. If the sleeves were plain black it would make this dress a little too dark for me as I don’t like a harsh black look.

Renée Zellweger wearing Prada. This light pink color is so stunning, and the heart shaped neckline with the off the shoulder detail makes this simple gown not too simple.

Greta Gerwig. This emerald green color suits her so well. I love the added sparkle on the straps.

Saoirse Ronan wearing Gucci. This low-waisted gown is SO gorgeous. I can’t imagine it in any other color, and think it’s so simple and elegant on her. I love the drop earrings and pop of color on the lip.

Zoë Kravitz wearing Yves Saint Laurent. This gold gown with the added coral lip and earrings is a very lovely color combination on her.

Rooney Mara wearing Givenchy Haute Couture. As I was scrolling through quickly I thought this was Audrey Hepburn for a split second! I absolutely love the pulled back bun with this gown. The ruffled sleeves and detailing on the skirt is so pretty.

Tatiana Korsakova. Again with this color! The green jewelry pairs well with this ruffled gown.

Daisy Ridley wearing Oscar de la Renta. Wow! This sleeve is so interesting and I really like the color. She looks great.

Lulu Wang wearing Simone Rocha, Everything about this look is so cute. I love the chandelier earrings paired with this printed ensemble. The lace details and collar are oh-so-feminine. Love!

Ella Balinska wearing Giambattista Valli. A stunning dress. Like Florence, I love the high low contrast with this look as well. This dress is making me long for spring time!
