As January is coming to a close and February is on the horizon, I start to go through my winter wardrobe and put away my red and navy plaids, and dig into my spring/summer pieces and grab a few that are perfect for transitioning from February to March. Especially with blouses I find that quite a few of my spring/summer ones I can style in a way that makes them appropriate to wear even in mid-winter.
Wearing a light printed top with dark colored accessories or vice versa is how I incorporate my more summery pieces into my winter wardrobe. I’ve never been someone to completely separate my wardrobes because there are so many versatile pieces.
I’ve always loved a one-shoulder top. They add a fun yet classy aura and I love the peplum hem on these two picks. This floral jacquard beauty has a sash tie waist and works for any occasion. Or, be pretty in pink in this metallic finish top.
The frost color on this lace top is so stunning and perfect for the winter. I love the lace neckline details that are also seen on the cuffs and hem.
This Self-Portrait wrap silhouette top is so cute. I love the lace trim and the contrasting of the black and white on the leopard print. This top would look great paired with jeans as above with a black bootie, or in more McKenna-fashion with a black skirt and matching leopard tights and black booties. More lace and wrap style tops I love here, here, and here.
I just purchased this white satin wrap blouse and I absolutely love how it looks. I usually have a problem with wrap tops and how they fit on the top, but this one fits so nicely. I love the added ruffle details in the sleeves. The orchid color of this blouse is so pretty and I don’t have a color like this in my wardrobe.
