How to Elevate a Black Jumpsuit

A black jumpsuit is a very flattering piece to wear. It makes you look taller and when worn with heels is a really classic piece. To elevate my black halter jumpsuit I paired it with my teal flower belt(that I absolutely love, my best vintage find), and wore a seashell blue necklace with matching drop earrings. For bag I decided to add a pop of color with the neon yellow/green. I’m wearing bow black heeled sandals to continue with the black which makes my legs look longer. Especially for shorter people, never underestimate the power of a black jumpsuit to make you look taller.

A statement necklace or scarf is a fun way to add some character to your simple black jumpsuit. The silk chiffon floral necklace is one of my favorites. I always love wearing a scarf, it’s a great way to stay warm on cool summer nights.

You can’t forget statement earrings! Pin your hair back and wear a unique earring to accentuate your face.

A hat, of course! Simple to throw on and allows you to not have to worry about what your hair looks like on those humid days.

I love these purple headbands. The tie-dye one is so fun for summer, and I’ve been loving the popularity of padded headbands. This purple head wrap is so feminine and fun and a chic way to pull your hair back on a hot summer day. As for the fascinator, you know I can’t resist them!

Define your waist with a belt! I almost always top off all my outfits with a belt. It shows your shape if a garment tends to hide it, and is also a great way to add a new color or texture to the look.
