Wedding season is here, and finding something to wear can be difficult. When finding a dress to a wedding there are many things to consider, one being that you should absolutely not wear white, but how to find an affordable dress. Dressing for a wedding can get expensive, and when you’re not going to wear the dress again for some time, you want to try to save as much money as you can.
I discovered Rent the Runway about a year ago, and I’ve been super interested in it for quite some time now. Rent the Runway is an online fashion rental service where you can shop for tons of designers, and rent anything for a discounted price and return the item/items for free. There are two plans, RTR Update which allows you to rent 4 pieces a month with 1 swap and access to 400+ designers, and RTR Unlimited which allows 4+ items to be rented out at a time, and you have unlimited number of swaps each month with access to 600+ designers. I find it the perfect website to use for affordable, sustainable fashion shopping and think everyone should consider this for not just a wedding guest dress, but for any event. Read more about how their program works here.
I’m dedicating this Rent the Runway post to wedding guest attire. Rent out a dress, jewelry, bag and you’re all set. Shop from designers that have beautiful pieces, at an affordable price- and be the best dressed guest!
