Not All Who Wander are Lost

Not All Who Wander are Lost

I’ve dreamed about living in New York City for many, many years now, and I’m so happy to finally be able to say I’m going to college there! I graduated high school last June, and decided to go to community college; I really wasn’t ready to go off yet and wanted some time to detox from the last four years and be my true self before I moved off to college.

I’m still remember the first time I went to NYC; it was 4 years ago and I remember being so in awe. The life that I thought was only fictional I then realized could be very real because I was seeing people first hand experiencing it. New York City is its on world, when I go there I always feel like I’m entering a new world of so much opportunity. I can’t wait to start taking advantage of everything this wonderful city has to offer.

I’m so excited to be attending Pace University, which is located in Lower Manhattan in the Financial District. I’ve never explored downtown as much and I’m so excited to get to know the area! I’m so happy to finally feel like I’m moving closer to having a career in fashion. This truly is the right step for me, and I’m also glad I waited a semester because I feel totally ready.

I’m so excited to be in the city while having this blog as well! I can’t wait to be inspired and go to museums and just walk around the city and really take it all in. Getting away from my hometown and being around people like me and who want to do the same things as me is going to be so relaxing and empowering.

Thank you all so much for reading, I can’t wait to see what New York City life will bring to me and this blog. Xoxo, MRJ
